We need to get the Six Flags trip back for the class of 2029 (current MAMS 8th grade). It was unjustly canceled on us last year, even though the year previously went on the trip. It may be argued that it is not educational, or does not tie to our curriculum, but we learnt about physics, Newton’s Laws in particular which tie in directly with rollercoasters. Another point of why the class of 2029 should go to Six Flags is pure mental health. Most students work super hard at their time in MAMS without getting recognized or rewarded for this hard work. This is our 8th grade year, our last year at MAMS, and it should be made special, like the previous 8th grade years.
