Elizabeth River Tunnels has been legitimately robbing the residents of the 7 Cities by the BILLIONS even past the point full investment return.

At one point in time 500$ of Tolls could turn into 15,000$ until Governor Northam passed a Bill setting the Maximum an individual could be charged at 2200$.

HOWEVER, It does NOT restrict how they get to that 2200$ and how QUICKLY. 

Elizabeth River Tunnels has higher penalties then any Creditor organization in History. 
The company has been granted Powers and Control over VA residents and our LIVELIHOOD that no other establishment has or should EVER HAVE at the expense of mostly the poor and less fortunate community for the sake of STRICTLY PROFIT!!

Delinquent Tolls allow the company to suspend your registration and ability to register a car WHICH IS A TICKET-ABLE OFFENSE. If you can’t drive to work?? How can you pay either ??? It’s blatant sabotage and quite frankly a PROXY ENTRAPMENT of poor minority groups. 

In this game of LIFE, your BEHAVIORS ultimately DEFINE the INTENT behind your ACTIONS. 

In this case, Elizabeth River Tunnels has REFUSED to release the information defining the data that allows them to calculate and define why their ridiculous fees are what they are. 

This isn’t a very common, moral, or even ethical business practice. 
for instance; Dominion Electric and HRUBS define their fees on all bills based on what every penny is covering.

yet... a 4$ toll and 70$ of Late fees consist of ... what? 2 sheets of paper being mailed out every month? And according to the most recent agreement toll prices are set to increase at 3.5% every year until 2070??? A 50 YEAR PROFIT INFLATION TERM??? What?? 

Over the past few years not only myself but family members and friends have complained about these tolls. My family has paid over $2000 in toll fees just in the last year atleast!  And if you don’t have an Ezpass they don’t send you the bill til months later and charge you hundreds of dollars in late fees because of their mistakes!  How is fair it to people who live or work in Portsmouth to have to drive an extra 30 minutes all the way around Chesapeake to get to where they need to go thus spending more money in gas everyday. 

How can one realistically be employed and stripped of efficient transportation left with no ability to satisfy Registration Citations Nor 400% Late Fees.
