So there is a new principal at Cherry Hill East. While I am not opposed to this I am questioning of some new rules and regulations enforced. To start hour long lunches are being cut in half due to the homerooms. Now, a few years ago we DID have homerooms however they were removed due to most students finding it inconvenient. It kind of is as the hour-long lunches help give us students time to properly eat and hang out with our friends, as in only 30 minutes it’s hard to keep in contact with friends and there are many classrooms/extra helps open to those who actually need to do schoolwork/study/etc during lunch. So bringing back the homerooms does not benefit students in any way. Also, some clubs meet during lunch so the split makes no sense, what if you have to go to one club during one LB and have homeroom the next? How will you eat?
