Get Political Sponsorships for Iranian Prisoners of Conscience

Get Political Sponsorships for Iranian Prisoners of Conscience
The Issue
The Iranian Regime needs to be stopped! They need to be held accountable and their people need to be freed! To help hold them accountable for their actions toward prisoners and to put pressure on them to not execute and torture their people, we can encourage our representatives to become their political sponsors, or representatives/backers. International politicians have already announced their sponsorship of various Iranian prisoners, making it harder for the Regime to execute them. To help Imprisoned Iranians receive sponsorships, contact your state representatives demanding their sponsorship.
Find your representative and how to contact them by clicking on this link:
When contacting your representative, you can copy and paste the letter below. The letter contains a list of high-risk prisoners without a sponsor, as well as prisoners who are not at high risk for execution but still need sponsoring:
"Hello,
This is an appeal to sponsor wrongfully imprisoned Iranian protestors and to stop their subsequent torture and executions. As political figures and leaders, you represent a country founded on ideals of justice and equality. Ignoring the current human rights abuses towards Iranian men, women, and children, and refusing to hold the Supreme Leader responsible means turning our backs on these essential ideals. Help Iranian protestors who stood up for similar virtues and now face torture and/or death by sponsoring them. Using your influence to advocate for the prisoners of conscience of recent months and years as well as to put pressure on the Regime could help save innocent lives. Your voice could keep these brave Iranians from being raped (in the case of both men and women), killed, tortured, denied essential medical treatment, etc.
Below is a list of prisoners who have yet to receive political sponsors. Some are still children. These people have families–mothers, fathers, and children, crying out for their safe return. Please become a sponsor to one or more of the individuals listed below and save their lives. If we don’t do something to help them, then who will?
