Get Kylie to attend LHS for the 2027 school year
Get Kylie to attend LHS for the 2027 school year
The Issue
My best friend, Kylie, is not allowed to attend public school, and it's breaking my heart. Kylie and I have been inseparable since childhood, and the thought of not having her with me at LHS during the 2027 school year is unbearable. Her exclusion from the public school system is not only unfair but also deprives her of the education and social experiences every child deserves.
Kylie is a bright and enthusiastic learner with a passion for science and art. She is eager to continue her education in an environment that nurtures her talents and encourages her growth. Unfortunately, due to certain policies, she has been denied the opportunity to join LHS, where I and many of her peers are friends. This situation is distressing, and we are determined not to let this stand.
Studies show that inclusive educational environments foster better learning outcomes and social skills. According to the National Center for Education Statistics, students attending public schools gain access to diverse resources and a more comprehensive educational experience than those in less inclusive settings. By denying Kylie access to LHS, we deny her these opportunities and a chance to thrive.
We ask the local school board and educational authorities to review their policies and make adjustments to accommodate students like Kylie, who simply want a fair chance to pursue their education in a public setting. Let us ensure that all children in our community, regardless of their circumstances, have the right to public education and a chance to reach their full potential.
Please support this petition to show the school board and policy makers that we stand united in ensuring inclusivity and accessibility in our educational system. Together, we can bring Kylie to LHS for the 2027 school year and secure a brighter future for her and countless other students.
Sign this petition and be part of making a difference in Kylie's life and the lives of many students who deserve to walk the halls of their local public school.
