In late 2023, Google started asking all developers to verify their information. For individual developers (indie, normal people, NOT corporations, etc.), we needed to provide our legal names, home addresses, phone numbers and email addresses. However, we did NOT expect Google to PUBLISH this information for the general public to see. This is not only impacting American developers, but developers worldwide.

As a result of Google's disgusting exposure of personal information, we have received an endless onslaught of unsolicited mail, email, and phone calls. Imagine having your HOME ADDRESS published for the whole world to see? It is unsafe, unethical, and an abuse of privacy laws.
