We need to improve rural connectivity!

Knocking on doors the frustration about phone signal in Quenington and the surrounding villages comes up alot! Together with the community we have worked together and waited patiently for years, following due procedure, for the completion of the Donkeywell mast, which promises to greatly improve our mobile connectivity.

This wait has now gone on too long, the uncertainty and delay are hindering our daily lives, working from home, safety and adding extra costs to our utility bills. 

The connectivity in our villages is shockingly poor, causing significant challenges for individuals and cumbersome obstacles for emergency services. It is estimated that 95% of adults in the UK use mobile phones (source: Office for National Statistics), demonstrating how vital access to reliable network coverage is in today's society.

Yet, in our rural setting, we pay the same monthly bill but this essential service is neglected. Our dependence on rural connectivity necessitates action. The Donkeywell mast will not just bring connectivity; it will bring opportunities, safety, and empowerment.

We call on Vodafone to provide a firm and immediate completion date for the Donkeywell to connect Quenington, Coln and our surrounding villages.
