Get a zebra crossing outside of Bristol metropolitan academy on Snowdon road

The Issue

I am a student, at Bristol metropolitan academy. Me, and many other students, and teachers at my school, are at risk, every single day.

Young people, children, and teenagers lives are at risk.

Getting a crossing on Snowdon road, just outside of Bristol metropolitan academy, would change the way we get to school, for the better.

Instead of risking our safety, every morning, we could cross the road, with peace of mind, knowing that we won't get hit, that cars will stop, and that we can get to school safely.

I walk across that road, five days a week, and each day I do, I worry. I worry for my safety, for my peers safety, and for my teachers safety. The cars don't stop for us, not even slow down. We have to wait, for usually two minutes or more, for there to be a gap in the traffic, so we can simply get to school.

This issue needs to be acted on before it's too late, and someone gets hit.

Can you imagine, an eleven year old child, in year seven, trying to cross the road, to get to school, but getting hit?

This needs to be fixed.
