Beaufort County Council has decided to not renew Beaufort Liquidators temporary permit that will allow them to continue operating their business. They are saying that the new airplanes will cause too much noise and even though Beaufort Liquidators offered to add berms and setbacks that would help reduce the noise they are still rejecting their bid to stay open. According to the MCAS representative Mr. Jason Mann they do not want this business to continue operating because they are worried about health hazards. Even though there are numerous houses across the street and a Drive-In Movie theater next door they are saying this one business is going to be affected by the new increased noise. We are a military town and we are used to the noise. Lets show them how much NOISE we as a town can make and keep this business open where they have remodeled and opened a unique business and flea market that can only benefit our local economy!
