If you haven't visited little Ellijay, Georgia, please do. We are a small town nestled in the North Georgia Mountains. We have chicken houses, apple houses, in which, we have our annual Apple Festival in October. As far as shopping we have a small square which houses antique stores, the court house, and a barber shop. We have a supportive local community that believes in keeping Ellijay our small little town. 

Some may wonder what we do to pass the time. If we're not front porch sittin', we go to our locally owned and operated movie theater, "East Towne Cinemas". Theater is owned and operated by a local, sweet family who not only operate the theater but have become good friends and family to the locals.

East Towne Cinemas have the best prices and always show the latest movies! 

We, as locals, have been informed that in the upcoming year, 2018, there will be a large, rather unnecessary, theater being built. We believe in local community, putting money back into our community and tradition, like the one we have by visiting our local family owned theater.

As a community, we ask for your support in helping keep Gilmer alive.
