Free Jamius Gunsby : An Innocent Man Sentenced To Life In Prison

The Issue

I am pleading to all of you who believe in wrongful convictions to help turn this case around. If I am unable to acquire any help, Jamius will become another man imprisoned the rest of his life for a crime he did not commit.

Jamius’s freedom was taken from him on April 2019 when he was wrongfully accused of murder. Prosecutors said Jamius ordered Jerry Carston to shoot and kill Quentin Denard Williams this happened on July 2016.

There is no physical evidence involving Jamius except the fact that the shooter Jerry Carrston called Jamius on the day of the murder. there was no evidence presented at trial of anything Jamius & Jerry talked about.

No witnesses were called to testify that could have overheard the phone calls.

How can a phone call be enough to put a young man with his whole life ahead of him in prison for the rest of his life? This can’t be happening…

Especially because it is a known fact Jamius was the one to help Jerry, making sure he went to school,  & made something out of his life.

This is the kind of man Jamius is, looking out for his loved ones and people who need help. He had so much going for him, doing good for the people around him & for the beautiful daughter he was raising.

All of this just got taken away from him we can't let this happen.

THERE WAS NO PHYSICAL EVIDENCE, NO DNA, NO CLEAR MOTIVE, and NO PRIOR CRIMINAL RECORD, yet Jamius Gunby, got sentenced to life in prison.

How can it be, that a trial  continued even after the jury failed to reach an unanimous verdict and got declared a ''hung jury'' 5 times?

Please help us advocate and free a man who deserves a proper trial.

Your help is needed and greatly appreciated. Help make this wrong done, right!

Let’s bring this loving & devoted father home, home to his 8 year old daughter who needs and deserves her father in her life.

Back to his family friends & loved ones who miss him dearly
