We call on the GA SOS to timely certify Georgia's Presidential Election and for the GA GOP to stop delaying and undermining the Election results. 

The GA GOP continues to interfere with the Election and impede the SOS. Recently, the GA GOP asked the SOS to re-review absentee-ballot signatures that have already been vetted and accepted by election officials.

Not only is this impossible because signatures are on the ballot envelopes, which are separated from the ballots after review, but the GA GOP wants the SOS to use discredited, junk science to reject valid ballots despite the data showing that "97% of rejected signatures are likely to be valid." 

In a lawsuit brought by ACLU of Georgia in Gwinnett County in 2018, Plaintiffs Asian Americans Advancing Justice and Georgia Muslim Voter Project proved that exact signature matching disproportionately affects and disenfranchises eligible minority voters. They proved that "only about 3 percent of ballots from white voters were rejected, compared with 5.1 percent from Hispanic voters, 10.3 percent from Black voters, and 13.9 percent from Asian American voters."

Recent testimony at the GA House Government Affairs Committee affirmed the same thing--science and data do not support exact-signature match, which by and large disqualifies eligible votes. That's why the Republican-led GA General Assembly passed, and Kemp signed into law, HB 316, which allows voters to cure their absentee ballots because the signature-review process is so flawed and prone to error.

Tell the GA GOP to stop trying to disenfranchise voters and accept the Georgia Presidential Election results.
