We, the people of Madison, Franklin, and Oglethorpe counties, and all impacted communities, call upon Georgia Renewable Power, LLC, to stop burning railroad ties at the Madison County Biomass Power Plant. Creosote and other poisons in railroad ties are known to cause serious health problems when burned. We call upon our County leadership to support us in this request.
