The Georgia Institute of Technology has long been focused on excellency and innovation. Over the college's history, students and staff have worked together to make improvements in places ranging from our campus to our world. 

We need a logo that reflects that prowess. Georgia Tech's logo, pre-revisions, was a work of art. Its sleek design reflected the modernity of the college; its clever letter alignment fondly highlighted the Institute's nickname. When you saw that logo, you saw Tech.

We, the present students of Tech, feel that the energy and money focused on this design should instead be directed elsewhere. At a time where dormitories' ceilings are leaking and dining halls' patrons are falling ill, at a time where a pandemic is raging across the state, we need to focus on what really matters around campus.

Tech is focused on Creating the Next. Let's create the next solutions to student life and campus improvements—not unnecessary revisions to a design which many of us were already fond of.
