Douglas County needs a Customer Service Center for the Department of Driver Services.  We are a growing county with a busy working population.  We also have a growing number of elderly drivers.  An office in Douglas County would ease the burden of having to drive to Carroll or Cobb County.  In addition, it would ease the burden of those offices.  I recently asked the county if there was a Customer Service Center.  Their response was that they had applied to the state for the last ten years and were denied every year.  They even offered FREE land!  We, the citizens of Douglas County, would like to see a Customer Service Center in Douglas County.
