We ask that our elected city officials, ensure that on-duty Keene Police Officers are outfitted with body cameras as soon as possible. We ask that they take action to make sure our community is safe for each and every one of their constituents, and that our police force is held accountable for their actions through the proper use of body cameras.

• KPD does not have body cameras, and has no plans to acquire them in the next fiscal year, as confirmed by the Chief of Police and Mayor.
• The City of Keene Public Forum on Racial Justice (being held THIS MONDAY JUNE 15 AT 6:00PM) will have a panel of speakers made up of three cops and one black woman. Law enforcement should not be dictating this conversation. The Zoom link to attend the Public Forum 

Once the goal is achieved, we will bring this petition to the city council and mayor of Keene.
