It is with a very heavy heart, I must tell you all, that Coodes and Sennybridge have succeeded in their battle to take John's beloved chalet.
This is devastating news to everyone and very sad for Hayle's heritage.
Simon Wright said at a Hayle Town Council meeting, that he loved the chalets at Harveys Towans and wanted to protect them...we will see what kind of custodian he is.
After my 4th court hearing January 3rd, I was ordered to vacate by February 2nd 2023 and pay Coodes costs over £31,000.
Coodes have not updated me on their final bill yet. I cannot afford to lose more money by going to Appeal.
I did not envisage this outcome and have only tried to carry out John's wishes and defend an inheritance left to me.
You have all been so supportive and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I am so sorry this is not the outcome all hoped for.
I will gift the chalet to Simon Wright in the hope that it will stand firm in the landscape for the next 100 years.
With love.
