This petition has reached 1500 and I am giving 3rd update.

Endemic or Pandemic? 
Can MTF make up their mind ? 

IF this is endemic, today announcement request us to “hold back” (reduce non-essential social activities, more ART test etc) seems contradictory.

IF this is pandemic, is it appropriate to allow unvaccinated HK/Macau/China and VTL travellers to enter without SHN at Govt dedicated facilities ? Not forgetting the new mutated virus Gamma, Mu, Lamdba can breakthrough vaccines. 

Easy for them to say “live with virus”, but covid is not flu and long term side effects unknown. We can actually control the risk by strengthening internal measures + stricter border control. 

Since delta virus by import cases in April, we hv seen many clusters - TTS/Airport/Bukit Merah/KTV/JFP/Bugis/Bus interchanges. I don’t think they can manage the risk anymore.  

Why do we want to add import cases to bring in more risk & stress ?

Although data shown vaccinated may be mild, but no one will want to be infected as “long-covid” symptoms is worrying . Furthermore for the vulnerable elderlies and kids below 12 who cannot be vaccinated, do we just leave them behind ?

Also, please spare a thought for our healthcare and front line workers, they hv been working tirelessly since last year. They need a break too.

Any petition with 2500 signatures is likely to get picked up by local news. However, being a housewife, i do not have many ways/friends to promote, thus it is not likely this petition can reach 2500.

However, I am hoping it can at least reach 2000. Once reach, i will give a 4th update get consensus from all of you to either “submit” to Straits Times/Today or a MP so hopefully he can raise our concerns in parliament.

As I mentioned in my 2nd update, between HEALTH and wealth, the choice is actually very clear. Life is very precious. 

We just want our families and love ones to be safe and healthy, is this too much to ask for?
