Dear all, thank you tremendously for your support.

This petition has reached 1000 and I am giving 2nd update.

We cannot close border as we need ESSENTIAL workers, necessities, food supplies etc and we fully understand this.

Under Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL), Singapore has recently lifted SHN quarantine at dedicated facilities for some countries.

However, Brunei is extending partial lockdown amid daily spike of over 100 covid cases and Germany now having 4th covid wave driven by delta variant.

In my humble opinion, remove SHN at dedicated facilities for leisure inbound (non-essential) travellers is risky as it may cause community leak.

Not forgetting, latest data shown vaccine efficacy wane after 5 months, in another word, our population who has taken vaccine earlier in Jan-Feb probably does not hv sufficient antibody protection by now.

As for the unvaccinated group, be it medically unfit or kids below 12 years, they are at vulnerable position too.

This week, our daily community cases is over 100+ with many unlinked and this is really worrying.

I sincerely hope MTF can re-evaluate border reopening measures and look into how the RISK of import cases can be minimise to safeguard Singaporean.

Between HEALTH and wealth, actually is a very clear choice.

IF this petition can reach 1500 to reach media attention , I will give 3rd update again.

Kindly help to share this petition

Hope our voices can be heard.

Lastly remb collect Temesek free surgical & N95 mask, we probably need it with border reopening soon.

Meantime, Stay healthy and be safe ❤️
