Petition to change General Motors new logo. The new lowercase gm logo is awful and does not embody the company GM is now and changing into. In particular, the lower case letters and color. Many people have expressed on social media their distaste. Some suggest it looks like an elephant. Others have said the new logo would build kids gaming machines. The border appears to exemplify a wall. GM’s old logo is iconic. It exemplifies strength and in command. The new logo in shape and size is GM’s acknowledgement they are no longer the leader in automotive but just another player in a saturated and competitive market. American companies should always be leading and the old GM logo expressed this confidence. Simple in its design. However, we understand that some change could be appreciated. We would suggest GM at least use capital letters and stay away from lowercase letters similar to a certain social media companies lowercase f.
