Family Fun Day is in jeopardy and we need to take a stand and be noticed for our community.  GGP, the corporation that owns The Mall in Columbia is trying to cancel, if not seriously reduce, the program Family Fun Day on Thursdays at 10am.  The program celebrated its 20th birthday in August of 2015. It is a community event where children, parents, grandparents, childcare providers,& guardians are invited to participate in songs and stories with Miss Julie, as well as Magicians, independent Musicians, puppeteers, educational entertainers & much more every Thursday at 10am.  GGP has taken it out of the hands of the mall management and have decided to not put out a schedule for January with no answers as to when we will see its return.  A corporation that is in Chicago is deciding what is happening and what is needed in our community.  I think we must show solidarity for the children and families of our Community.
