Solve Gender Inequality in the Workplace

Solve Gender Inequality in the Workplace
The Issue
Women have been put down in the workplace for a long time. The noticeable differences between women and men while working are finally being talked about. We all need to support gender equality in the workplace because of the racial, pay, and gender gap that causes inequalities among women.
In the US Hispanic, black, and Native women earn less than white and Asian women. White women are also more likely to have access to better healthcare and job opportunities. Fixing gender inequality will help racial inequality too. Another group of people that gender equality would help is men. Men could receive parental and family leave without the current criticism they face.
We also need to start women off in their careers sooner. According to UNICEF, around 1 in 4 girls between the ages of 15 to 19 years old don't have jobs while boys in the same age group are only at a 1 to 10 ratio. From the start men are given better opportunities in the workplace. Currently women hold 59 percent of low-wage jobs. Uneducated women are more likely than uneducated men to work part-time. On average 29 percent of women to 15 percent of men work part-time.
Enough is enough for women not being given the same opportunities and resources as men. With working towards gender equality in the workplace, we will all win. Men will be able to help their families more while women will be given equal opportunities and we will be able to close the wage gap of women of color.
