Kim Ramsey started this petition to Paul Cummings Solar Guy who has brought this out here! Geenexsolar.com and

Local Farmers have been sought after to put Solar panels on their Prime Agriculture Land in Bath, Indiana~ Franklin County. Geenex Solar is the lucky one to have got to these farmers by shelling out significant amount of $ to lease their lands for 40 years. Not giving the actual facts to these farmers, they have sugar coated all that they can do for them financially, with not a care in the world to the local Community it will affect. These Solar panels will NOT benefit Franklin County, Or Bath Community. It will benefit a larger city Chicago or Indianapolis. There's nothing to gain from these but Financially for the individual farmer.

Do we have a right to stop them, yes! Because this is harmful to the ground, its toxic, its noisy, it takes away the Beautification of the Land, it will have to be surrounded by high fencing, will look like a prison area. It will depreciate Real estate for miles around it. Once the Geenex solar company gets it in here, they will abandon it, and the owner will have to find a place to dump it, remember this is toxic materials, its not safe by any means. They lie and tell you it is, it isn't. Also I have read, that once Geenex signs the lease with a owner, they are at Liberty to do what they want with "their leased land" for 40 years, the owner loses all rights once the lease is signed.

This is near & dear to the heart of our community to keep this Land here as Agriculture Farming, not renewable solar energy, that will destroy the Heritage of many Families in this area.

The Zoning & Area Planning Commission told us this is an A1 Zoning area, its only for Agriculture Farming. All of a sudden, behind closed doors, within a few weeks~ a decision was made without public knowledge or public meeting that this is Now Allowed for 1300

Please sign & Help us Stop this in my own backyard & Our Small Town Community! We need Support! Thank you
