Clarification for the Recommended Oil Grade during PMS of our GEELY COOLRAY

Clarification for the Recommended Oil Grade during PMS of our GEELY COOLRAY

The Issue

Hi,

I recently bought a Geely Coolray Sport variant and is nearing my PMS schedule.

I'll get straight to the my points.

Point #1: Why is the CASA using a 5W-40 Oil during PMS against to what is recommended in the manual which is 0W-20.

Point #2: Can we have an official document where it says that the AfterSales team in the Main Geely Headquarters in China recommends and allows Geely PH to use 5W-40 on its units during PMS  without sacrifices in terms of Fuel Efficency and/or Engine Lifespan.

Point #3: If ever I insist and bring my own oil with a Grade of 0W-20 as per manual to the CASA, to be used during the PMS of my unit, will it void my warranty?
