Dear fellow Guyanese ,

This petition is for Guyana by the People of Guyana! We will not tolerate further injustice by GECOM.  This petition will help us achieve A fair recount of votes,  and Sharing of SOPs to the public and 

GECOM is not supporting Guyanese WILL for a free and fair election !

Justice Claudette Singh , we are very angry at you for not supporting our rights to a free and fair election!  You have taken us for a ride and we demand that you act within your powers to set things straight immediately. You have no right to abuse the power we have given you.    We will do whatever it takes to have you removed from this position if You continue to ignore our rights.  We have been patient, and kind but honestly we are  very, very angry and ready to explode. You have put us back into the Stone Age and we cannot,  and definitely will not sit back and take this anymore until this farce has been rectified.  

APNU Gecom commissioners, we hope this petition is a clear message that you cannot crush our rights and our families’ future.  If you decide to ignore us, the people of Guyana, will find another way to make it clear to you that you cannot And will not steal an Election.  We promise you, we will not rest until every person involved in rigging this election is charged and prosecuted. 

Furthermore, the following are our requests which we demand you implement immediately.  We will not take NO for an answer and will challenge you to the end!

1). GECOM must publish all SOPS from The Guyana March 2, 2020 election. They are refusing to do this, even though these are public documents, which all citizens of Guyana are allowed to see and should not be denied this right . Why are you withholding SOPS from the public and lending confusion to the election process?  We demand you publish the SOPs to GECOM website and to the local newspapers!  You are acting against the law.  What each party does with their SOP is their business, but you are an impartial body, and must do as you were constitutionally put in place to do.

Furthermore, Justice Charles Ramson had written, ”Refusal of Chief Election Officer to hand over SOP's is violation of the law...”, Justice Charles R. Ramson SC, OR Commission of Information

2 A)  We demand that  GECOM Finish the recount of the votes Within 2 weeks of starting, and they should start no later than May 1, 2020.  We do not accept a 25 day recount.  We expect due to COVID19, GECOM would want to implement 2 to 3 shifts per day to get this over with as quickly as possible.  Please provide us with concrete dates, so we know what is going on.  

2 B).   All personnel involved in counting/observing the recount should be exempt from curfew rules, to allow this recount to go as smoothly and as quickly as possible due to COVID19 and especially in the interest of the international team that is coming to help in this endeavour. We do not want them to sit around for 25 plus days because you choose to move this along slowly against the will of the people.  We are in a health crisis - without a government.

3). We demand that the recount be televised and there be a Live steaming of the recount. We want to see what each counting station is doing and what you are doing to serve us.  This does not go against the constitution or privacy issues.  We do not need you to show us what is on each ballot, so do not say there is a  privacy issue!  We are all in lockdown due to COVID19 and we deserve a way to see what is going on safely from our home without any biases! 

3)   We request you to finish region 4 ballots first, because that is the only region where the count has not been completed to the satisfaction of all parties and stakeholders.  Because of Covid19 you should be thinking intelligently and finish region 4 first, if you want to minimize spreading the virus further.  Anything else shows you are acting with bias or without regards for lives.  Furthermore, the whole country wants region 4 ballots to be counted first, yet you are purposely avoiding this.   We went to court because of region 4 declaration being compromised by the people you are in charge of.  Who are you serving ?  May we remind you , that you serve us, the people of Guyana not an individual party Or business.

4)  All ballots must be protected when not being counted and especially overnight.  All parties need to have representatives there to watch this and the cameras need to stream this live.  This will be helpful to you Gecom, and allow Guyana to gain respect and trust in you, as well as help us to see the truth without any party bias.
