Borderlands has been a solid game series for a decade, but the events and characters of the latest installment - Borderlands 3 - could jeopardize the future of the franchise. 

Specifically the inclusion of the supporting character Ava who seems poised to carry the torch of the narrative for the next installment despite being a horrible, whiny, annoying, and unlovable character.

We think Gearbox can do better. In fact, they have done better. Lilith, Lorelei, Maya, and of course Ellie are all superior characters. Even the antagonists are more likable than Ava. Let's make sure the community gets heard and the Borderlands franchise stays appealing.

Stop the propagation of terrible characters.

Insist on quality.
