GB News: Please Bring Back Colin Brazier

GB News: Please Bring Back Colin Brazier
The Issue
Everyone at GB News is excellent, but Colin Brazier stood out even amongst such a talented group.
From its inception your network has shown an enormous amount of wisdom about what is needed in broadcasting today, and you've attracted the most brilliant minds in the business. Yet you've axed one of the best of the best.
Brazier has an intelligence, insight, and charisma rare in television journalists at any time but especially today. There is always a unique clarity to his work. His integrity, humour, ability to communicate, genuine charm and way of getting to the heart of things were second to none, and GB News is much the poorer for his loss. He embodied what British journalism at its finest used to be - all the things that made GB News necessary in the first place.
You were incredibly lucky to have one of the top men in the business. Letting Mr Brazier go is like a cricket captain getting rid of Colin Cowdrey or the old BBC taking Robin Day off the air. It simply doesn't make sense, and everyone misses him.
This is no slur against you as GB News is still the best thing out there, but you have lost a certain gravitas and cachet in losing Brazier. Without him the general effect is of a channel more lightweight and slightly less sound. Please consider returning him to your fold.
BBB: not Build Back Better, but Bring Back Brazier!
Thank you.
