As the war between Israel and Hamas rages, we seek to establish a casualty evacuation plan for the critically injured children of Gaza. The war has damaged much of Gaza's critical infrastructure and destroyed several hospitals. We seek to establish a plan that will enable critically injured children to be evacuated either by air or ground transport to working hospitals in the region. Hospitals throughout the region could then provide critical care that is not currently available at any large scale inside the Gaza Strip. 

Thousands of children in Gaza have lost their lives already. This plan could save thousands more. Casualty Collection Points (CCPs) could be established in Gaza safe zones. There they could be triaged where medical professionals can determine whether they need to be transported to a critical care center outside the Gaza Strip. Agreements with combatants can provide avenues of approach to these established CCPs. Air or Ground Transport can then evacuate children in critical condition to a working hospital that can treat them. 

We ask that you put yourselves in the shoes of a Palestinian for a minute, how would you feel if you were powerless to save your child from death? Would you not want to move the world for them? This is the reality for many parents in Gaza. This can be the difference between seeing their children grow up or not.

Now is the time to act. Every 10 minutes a child is killed in Gaza. We do not need to accept this; we do not even need to enforce a peace. We just need to create a chance for these critical patients.
