I am a Cleveland policeman. I want to see an end to the school shootings and violence in schools.  

Why can’t we have police and the schools work together?  I would like to see the schools have more than a school resource officer. We can have mini-substations in schools. These would be places for patrol officers and detectives go to complete paperwork, take “breaks” and be visible to students. 

I think the more random presence of police showing up on school campuses would not only benefit the schools, but  would also help bridge the community relations.  

This would be a no cost option to have more police present. I think this would be a good start to help reduce the amount of shootings and violence. 

Lets do do something to save our children. I couldn’t imagine one of my kids going to school and not coming home. We have the power and resources to end this. Let’s do it now!!
