Recently the Morongo Basin with its Joshua Trees and stunning vistas has been descended upon by rich investors that only want this land as a party place that they can make money. This does nothing for our community or the lack of affordable housing in this state and will only make it worse. 
This continues to harm the environment here as I see trash everywhere and Joshua Trees falling down on every block. We must stand up to this in our community! The native plants and animals are suffering and we need to help them. I live in Landers CA and now this town is mostly Airbnb’s and Marijuana Farms. Destruction of the environment must stop or the Joshua Trees or the Dark Skies will cease to exist forever. This land isn’t for sale for profit and vacation!
