Gabriel Fernandez was a sweet 8 year old boy who was abused and tortured horribly to death at the hands of his Biological mother and her boyfriend. Gabriel sought help from his teacher, Jennifer Garcia, with bruises and a story of horrific abuse, she listened and reported to CPS. However she should have done MORE! This should have been reported to the police. She should have treated this as a life endangerment of a child. Instead she reported it and then sent him home to deal with these monsters. She allowed the school to dismiss the idea of taking Photos and getting involved. Is this the kind of people we want watching and protecting our children?
