Support the EPA's ability to address climate change

Support the EPA's ability to address climate change
The Issue
Gary Palmer, House Representative for Alabama's Sixth District, has sponsored a proposed bill that blocks the EPA's ability to address climate change. The bill repeals the ability of the Clean Air Act, Federal Water Pollution Control Act, National Environmental Policy Act of 1969, Endangered Species Act of 1973, and Solid Waste Disposal Act to regulate climate change and excludes carbon dioxide, water vapor, methane, nitrous oxide, hydrofluorocarbons, perfluorocarbons, and sulfur hexafluoride from being defined as "air pollutants" under the Clean Air Act. The undersigned voters from Alabama's Sixth District strongly oppose this legislation and support the ability of the EPA to address climate change.
The text of H.R. 637: To prevent the Environmental Protection Agency from exceeding its statutory authority in ways that were not contemplated by the Congress is available at https://www.govtrack.us/congress/bills/115/hr637/text/ih
