While nothing is permanent, some things sure deserve being preserved and protected. Garth's Boulder Gardens in San Bernardino County California is one of those places. The Boulder Gardens is a 640 acre parcel that Garth Bowles has diligently preserved and protected for 40 years, and made available for visitors from all over the world that appreciate the splendor and wonder of this incredible little corner of this natural world we live in. 

Again, while nothing lasts forever, some things sure deserve to, and Garth is one of those people. The reality is that one day, hopefully with many years still to come, he too will eventually pass. Currently the plan (or reality) to maintain the boulder Gardens for future generations is that ownership will pass to another private individual. There is much concern among residents, guests, and friends of Boulder Gardens that doing so will be the end of Boulder Gardens as we all know and love it, because it would take a whole team of awesome people to even hope of replacing Garth and his giant heart.

No matter how incredible of a person this new owner might be we feel that the danger of misuse, mismanagement, or straight up selling the place for profit will be the end of the boulder Gardens.

There is currently a boulder Garden Sanctuary nonprofit organization set up by Garth. We feel that ensuring the property goes to the nonprofit instead of any single private individual will be a much more successful attempt to preserve and maintain the incredible specialness that is garth's Boulder Gardens.
