Supercell made the decision to remove global chat due to bad language, and will implement a new recruitment system. However, there is no better recruitment system than direct communication itself. Removing global chat could have great negative effects on the community as global chat helps people connect with others in different clans all across the world.

Many people enjoy global chat to meet new people while playing their favorite game. Global Chat is more than just a way of recruiting people to join your clan. It's a way for everyone to enjoy more social interactions with people who aren't in your clan. I know many, and I'm sure you know many people as well, who use global chat as just a way of communication and not just recruiting.

Yes, there are toxic people in the community who like to get around the chat filters and say horrible things. It's the gaming community it's a very competitive community and one of the most toxic communities. Even though there are some negative people who use Global Chat for the wrong reasons, the vast majority don't. Whenever I see any sort of negative language in global chat it's usually just a few people not the entire chat going at it to each other. 

We should keep global chat because it's definitely the best way of recruiting other people. Just because there are some negative people doesn't mean it should be ruined for the majority. After all, most negative interactions made on global are usually forgotten about almost immediately to closing the chat. Getting rid of something that has always been a part of the game is because of the immature people is unreasonable and uncalled for. I see negative interactions in global probably at least once a day, I also scroll through the clash of clans Reddit, and quite frankly I don't see anyone complaining. This is simply just a bad decision made out of thin air.
