Save SoulWorker! Gameforge SoulWorker, Lion Games
The Issue
This pedition applies to Gameforge and Lion Games as the state in Europe and America slowly but surely loses control.
On one hand, the market prices in the Premium Store are relatively unfairly balanced and, moreover, there are still enormous differences between the asian and western markets. The prices definitely have to be adjusted as players do not feel compelled to buy anything. Give players more freedom to decide which means that more players have the motivation to invest some money in the game.
While Asia binds all outfits and similar items to events or offers them individually as a package, the western market is throwing loot boxes. The loot boxes are currently in the western market in a gray area, these are here (America and Europe) still under criticism and laws are passed which loot boxes could be considered as gambling on a high level. The consequences will be that the loot boxes can damage the publisher a lot, which will raise the age limit. Those make the western market unprofitable.
Next up comes the controversial content release that has been jumbled up completely absurd.
GC got released together with Jin, which wasn't the best idea, but players were denied key to receive important core elements like Primal and Iris for a very long time, which can have fatal consequences for the game flow and community (currently the case).
Primal (dungeon) for 8 players at level 55 came after Golden Citadel. After that came GCC with level 60 and the advance modes. It is also important that all advance modes are unlocked at the same time that no balance issues occur.
In order to minimize player losses too early or to not let it occur at all. (advance modes are no longer in development, so all of them can get released).
It is very important that players are treated fairly.
Gameforge should not experiment and go for find their own way as this somehow does not work. You shouldn't try to change the drop rates and experience rates, just leave them like they are in the original Korean version. Many players dropped the game because of this reason, which is certainly not your goal. I think you want to achieve the opposite.
We are not working against Gameforge, we just make it clear and try to support you and Lion Games. You harm the developer "Lion Games" under the current circumstances as you regularly lose many players.
We have to work together with you to make the game great again.
We love SoulWorker, we love you!
