Gameforge to stop operating Metin2 and let private servers do their work in a better way
Gameforge has completely proven that they are incompetent to operate Metin2. This game became the perfect example of how private servers and indie developers can create better updates and a better-designed game than the official distributor. This is the only game that has only negative comments under every post on their Facebook page.
Gameforge has also done the most pathetic thing they could ever do: they went after a popular private server, closed it down and they opened a new official server with the name of that private server.
Metin2 is still alive only because of private servers: official servers are dying, no one wants to play on them, but private servers are still thriving.
For this problem a solution could be that they sell out partial rights for private servers: they can operate but they have to pay Gameforge a monthly or yearly price for this right (this could be based on their revenue or a fixed price too).
