Today I witnessed an elderly man carrying his shopping bag, fall over , hit his face and twist his ankle on the pathway on the university road by the entrance to NUIG opposite the Galway cathedral. I have tripped there numerous times and I have witness others stumble there too. 

It is a safety hazard especially for the elderly in our community. 

Sign this petition so it is brought to the County Councils attention in Galway so events like this don't happen again.
