The proposed Sports Complex at Macland and Villa Rica roads is incompatible with the current use of neighboring properties which is rural in nature. This development will create a nuisance as defined by law with its lights, noise and traffic at all hours of the day. Furthermore the safety of the neighborhood is at risk.  We still need everyone's support. Without even notifying the adjacent homeowners the county decided that the West Cobb Sports Complex would qualify under the current zoning of R-80 (2 acre lots for homes) as either recreational grounds or a private park.  But the developer is NOT building any homes to go with it and will put up the full commercial complex despite this being zoned residential.  We need everyone to virtually sign our appeal that we will submit to the Zoning Board in the next few days. If that doesn't work we will have to sue the county.
