Ability to wear du-rags to school.

The Issue

The restriction on students wearing du-rags to school is an infringement on basic human rights, and a freedom of expression. If students were allowed to wear du-rags, there would be more creativity in the environment and self expression would be boosted. Students may feel alienated or out of place without a du-rag on their head. Gallia Academy has a low population of black students, not allowing du-rags in the building is essentially taking away a part of black culture. If the building administration allowed this, happiness in school would be at an all time high.
