I met with the Hall County Parks and Recreation Advisory board on March 20, 2017 to present the skateboard park petition. We discussed the idea of building a skateboard park in Hall County. All of the advisory board members were very supportive of the idea. Below I am sharing the statement from Mike Little Director of the Hall County Parks and Recreation. Your survey and discussions was well received. Our Parks and Advisory Board voted 5-0 in support of a future facility. However, a timeline cannot be established at this phase due to funding, location determination, and land acquisition. As discussed, Hall County Parks will begin updating its Parks and Leisure Services Comprehensive Master Plan next year. We intend to include a skate park as a project in this study.
