Arvin “Tado” Jimenez, gone too soon. Him and 14 others who died from injuries sustained when a Florida Bus shot off a road in Mt Province and plunged into a ravine. Thirty-two others sustained injuries.

Tado’s family has laid him to rest. Friends in the artist and activist communities, and those who shared political and environmental advocacies, stepped in to help defray costs.

The family got NOTHING from G.V. Florida Transport, the company now known to illegally operate a fleet of “colorum” vehicles. Reports say other victims face the same dilemma. THIS IS IMPUNITY!

Aid and restitution are the least of the bus company’s obligations. Instead, Florida owners have issued a statement saying they would fulfill their obligations “once these are determined.”

That is adding insult to injury. That is throwing salt on a wound. Even as the case winds through an abysmally slow justice system, we demand that G.V. Florida Transport pay NOW for all expenses related to injuries and deaths caused by their bus, without prejudice to any further redress the victims and their families may seek!
