This petition is deeply personal to me as it involves an opportunity for students from the College of Southern Nevada (CSN) in Las Vegas, NV, USA to expand their horizons through a study abroad program in Costa Rica. This trip is not just about traveling; it's about providing these students with a unique learning experience that extends beyond the confines of a traditional classroom.

Costa Rica is renowned for its rich biodiversity and commitment to conservation. By studying here, our students will gain firsthand knowledge of these efforts, fostering a deeper understanding of global environmental issues and inspiring them to become advocates for wildlife conservation.

However, funding this trip has been challenging. Without adequate financial support, this invaluable educational opportunity may slip out of reach for many deserving students.

According to the Institute of International Education (IIE), only 10% of American undergraduates study abroad during their academic career (2019). We believe that every student should have access to such transformative experiences irrespective of their economic background.
