Fund Legal Support for Appeal of Unjust Drug Conviction

Fund Legal Support for Appeal of Unjust Drug Conviction
The Issue
Mutizwa Finley was convicted of life imprisonment I want to start up multiple business ideas for the money, start this petition as proof he deserves a second chance at an appeal, I’m willing to put up money and start up a foundation to do so . Support me by signing this petition please and thanks for your time.
My uncle as a kid did plenty of things for me as well as others as long as I can remember he was a great person to me and showed it. For example he brought me my first dog and my first pair of Gucci shoes. He helped my mother as a big brother before and after I was born I don’t remember much about my uncle but I can tell u whole heartedly I believe that he is deserving of everything I propose.
as a kid I loved to go over my uncles house to play video games and with toys he got me I still remember a Godzilla toy and he also remembered a buzz light year toy he got me. I visited my uncle he was honestly real laid back, chill, very knowledgeable and well spoken.
I’m writing this petition because I’m proving an important point declaring a written petition behind my actions of granting an appeal or commutation to the governor of Michigan on behalf of Mutizwa Finley.
My uncle, a man who I've never had the chance to truly know, has been incarcerated for over 20 years on drug charges. This is not just a story about my family's struggle but also an issue that affects countless families across the nation. The United States holds 25% of the world's prison population, with many serving time for non-violent drug offenses (NAACP).
My uncle's case is one among thousands where individuals are trapped in a system that often prioritizes punishment over rehabilitation. His sentence does not reflect the person he is today or his potential to contribute positively to society if given another chance.
We believe there were significant legal issues during his trial which warrant an appeal. However, securing competent legal representation requires funds we currently do not have.
This petition seeks your support in raising funds to hire a lawyer who can help us appeal my uncle’s conviction and bring him home after two decades behind bars. Your signature signifies your stand against unjust sentences and your belief in second chances.
Please sign this petition and help us bring justice for my uncle and other individuals like him who are victims of an unforgiving system.
