With technology advancing at a rapid pace, the only areas getting all the up to date tech based on "area observation" are the affluent areas, leaving all the previously disadvantaged behind. It is time Fibre is rolled out in all areas and not only the "advantaged areas".

Due to lockdown many South Africans had to work from home whether you stay you on the Cape Flats or Plattekloof. Kids had to do research online and 1GB of data is not enough to complete most of their tasks, the average price of 1GB costs R140.00. Parents had to spend their hard earned money to ensure kids complete tasks, not to mention buying data to keep the kids entertained at home to avoid them from walking around and spreading the dreaded Covid-19 virus.

It is time for the previously disadvantaged communities to get in the race to better communication connectivity technology. The time is now to advance with Fibre!
