Raise VGP Class to 6.0 GPA Points

Raise VGP Class to 6.0 GPA Points
The Issue
Almost every VGP student in FISD agrees on the idea that this class is harder to commit and excel in than even most AP courses. Students who take 5 or 6 APs during the same year as they take VGP say that this class on its own is harder for them than any other APs they are taking that year. The words "Video Game" in the course do NOT mean the course is meant for students to slack off and play video games, however they mean to indicate the focus of the programming that we students are coding: Video Games. Furthermore, if this class is placed in the 3rd level in the Computer Science course sequence, where AP Computer Science A given 6.0 points is in the 2nd level, why should VGP have less GPA points than a class placed to be less difficult than VGP? We sincerely hope that revisions are made to credit students who take this course with adequate GPA points for the level of difficulty and commitment required to excel in this class. Thank you.
