With the stress that covid has placed on us and the current state of the Clarkson community, many students have expressed serious concerns regarding the nature of our chemistry final. We feel that it would be best taken online so we will not have to risk exposure in a large classroom with many other students we do not know. With contact tracing still underway, many of those students could have come in contact with a positive case. It is unfair to ask us to risk our health for a final that can be taken online, as we have taken the rest of our tests online as well. To ask us to risk the health of not only ourselves, but our family will will be returning to is not fair. We ask humbly, by creating this petition, for the Clarkson administration to reconsider previous plans for our final exam.
