Santa Clara County currently has 37 (as of March 9th, 2020) cases of coronavirus and one death. Each day we're having more cases of the virus. Us students do not have a comfortable and appropriate environment in which we can learn and grow academically. We currently have no vaccine or medicine for COVID-19. If the district wants to keep our students, teachers, staff, and parents safe we should follow suit of other districts, like the Evergreen School District and shut down schools and activities until the virus is under control, a vaccine is found, and/or the virus seems to die down.
