PETITION FOR FAIR TREATMENT AND DUE PROCESS FOR KARMELO ANTHONY
Presented by the Dallas Project, this petition is a call for fairness, constitutional rights, and equal justice under the law. We believe that every individual, regardless of public opinion, media attention, or personal background, deserves to have their case heard through a fair and impartial legal process.
The United States justice system is built upon the principles of due process, the presumption of innocence, and equal protection under the law. These principles exist to ensure that every person is treated fairly and that decisions are made based on facts, evidence, and the rule of law—not emotion, speculation, or public pressure.
As community members, advocates, and concerned citizens, we recognize the importance of allowing the judicial process to proceed without interference while protecting the constitutional rights guaranteed to every American. We encourage respectful dialogue, peaceful community engagement, and a commitment to justice for all parties involved.
The Dallas Project is calling upon local leaders, elected officials, faith-based organizations, community activists, and residents throughout Texas and across the nation to support fairness, transparency, and accountability within the legal system.
WE ASK THAT:
• Karmelo Anthony be afforded all rights guaranteed by the United States Constitution.
• The courts maintain a fair, transparent, and impartial legal process.
• Public officials promote unity, respect, and responsible public discourse.
• Community members allow facts and evidence to guide the outcome of the case.
• Leaders work to reduce division and encourage healing throughout the community.
