This is important because I trusted Freedom Taxi as a good place to work, instead I am one of many who have been tricked by this upstart. This is a taxi company that recieved numerous perks from the City of Philadelphia to operate a 100% hybird taxi fleet, however they bank on the mostly immigrant pool of taxi drivers to not complain when they are not compensated in a timely and proper manner. Well this 50 year old African American grandmother will not stop until she is both paid and respected. 

Their shananagans are making me late in paying my mortgage this month.  They took money from me for a taxi rental, yet every night I arrived for work there was no taxi available for my use.  I eventually found out that my taxi was given to another driver.  That's all well and good, however with $573 dollars of my money paid in, it should have been immediately reimbursed.  It is unacceptable for the staff at Freedom Taxi to tell people "I don't know when the checks will come in"...UNACCEPTABLE!
