Travis Fletcher has been incarcerated for over 21 years, having been arrested at the tender age of 15 in Fort Myers, Florida. At such a young age, Travis was sentenced to two life-without-parole (LWOP) sentences for a tragic event that occurred when he was a teen. Under any measure of justice and fairness, this kind of punitive sentence is extreme, particularly for a juvenile. For the last 6+ years, Travis has been awaiting his fate in Lee County Jail.

The rulings of the United States Supreme Court are clear: Life without parole for juveniles in many cases is unconstitutional, a verdict firmly established by seminal cases such as Graham v.
